The Medicine Health Service endorses a patient focused care philosophy through a strong interdisciplinary team consisting of Registered Nurses, Registered Practical Nurses, Patient Care Assistants, Clinical Nurse Educators, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech Language Pathologists, Clinical Dietitians, Palliative Care Specialist, Pharmacists, IV Team, Blood Procurement Team, Physicians and Clerical Support Staff. The Health Service consists of inpatient units, which operate 24 hours a day, and outpatient areas.
